Toys of Christmas Past - Sold Out!
This winter Sutton House will be dressed to share Christmas joy from the last 500 years, from Tudor hobby horse to 80s Heartthrob.
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
Explore this beautiful Tudor home decorated for Christmas with glowing lights and twinkling decorations plus papercut snowflakes made by artist Chloe Campbell, local school children and volunteers, inspired by the 17th century papercuts currently on display in the house. Toys that would have been gifted at Christmas in years gone past are dotted throughout the house, from Nine Men’s Morris to everyone’s favourite 80s boardgames.
With elves’ help, families visiting during the festive season can follow an interactive trail, play with some of these past favourite toys, make some Christmas decorations and the chance to write a letter to Father Christmas himself.
