Plants, butterflies, and birds
Join a guided walk along the shingle bank to Blakeney Point and discover some of Britain's rarest and most endangered habitats.
- Booking essential
Join naturalist and conservationist Richard Porter for a walk along the shingle bank toward Blakeney Point, where you'll explore the distinctive plants of the shore and saltmarsh, along with birds and butterflies. Vegetated shingle is one of Britain’s rarest and most threatened habitats, with only around 5,000 hectares remaining in England. The shingle ridge at the National Trust’s Blakeney Point is a prime example of this unique environment.
