Creative Writing Workshops | A Year at Blickling: Being with the Spring
Create prose and poetry inspired by Spring at Blickling Estate. A series of creative writing workshops, with tickets covering three fortnightly sessions.

Join poet and creative writing teacher Jonathan Ward to create your own poetry and prose inspired by the spring at Blickling - including the gardens and bluebell woods.
A series of three creative writing workshops, each of which will involve a short walk and writing outside on the Estate. Sessions will also include some readings of spring-themed literature and time for writing, reflection and sharing.
A short feedback email will be provided on one piece of writing per session. Beginners and more experienced writers are all welcome.
Please bring appropriate clothing and a notebook and pen. Time spent outdoors will vary depending on the weather. There will be a 45 minute break for lunch.
Sessions will take place Tuesdays 25 March, 8 April, and 22 April 2025, 10am - 3pm. Tickets include all three sessions.

- Meeting point
When you arrive, please go to the welcome team in the estate barn near the main car park.
- What to bring and wear
Wear clothing suitable for walking around the Estate. Sturdy footwear and weather appropriate items. Please also bring a notebook and pen.
- Accessibility
The indoor space for this workshop is on the first floor without lift access. The workshops will also involve walks in the parkland.

Please note that normal car parking charges apply for this event. Car parking is free for National Trust members.
