Bio-sonification Live at Felbrigg’s Walled Garden

- Free event (admission applies)
Ever wondered what plants sound like? Join Martin Noble-James from Revolutionary Biscuits in Felbrigg’s renowned Walled Garden to find out.
By night an audio experimentalist and by day a Felbrigg gardener – Martin has expert insight into the plants he makes playful and relaxing music with. Using sensors similar to an ECG machine, witness him translate the electrical impulses produced by plants into musical notes using his trusty analog synthesizer. Discover how factors like the weather affects the inner workings of plants and influence the live composition.
Bring a blanket, pack a picnic and enjoy otherworldly sounds at sunset as you relax in or wander around Felbrigg’s much-admired Walled Garden – bursting at the seams with heady colour, fragrance and textures.
