Let Sam lead you on a walk around Crook Hall Gardens to seek inspiration from blossom and nature. Then it's time for a workshop to grow those seeds of ideas into song.
This is a free event, but places are limited so booking is essential. Your booking includes complimentary entry to the gardens if you'd like to stay a while before or after the event.
Sam Slatcher is an independent recording artist, singer-songwriter, and community arts facilitator. Passionate about working in community and encouraging storytelling, Sam’s work takes him across the North East to capture stories through music. Meet at the admissions hut by the entrance.

Please wear suitable walking clothing and footwear. We'd advise bringing a drink.

The route around the gardens will involve uneven paths, slopes and steps.

Maximum stay in our car park is usually 3 hours. If you'd like to stay longer to allow time to explore the gardens further, or visit the café, please leave your registration number at the admissions desk.
