Enjoy a guided walk around the gardens with poetry inspired by the season, flora in the gardens and the local area. Each walk is about 50 minutes long, with plenty of stops.
Walk themes:
Saturday 26 July: Rhymes of summer - poetry for days of heat
Sunday 14 September and Monday 15 September: Verses for autumn - poetry for the season of mists
Saturday 6 December: Winter words - poetry for frost and snow

Suitable for ages 10+. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
- Meeting point
Meet at the admissions hut by the entrance to Crook Hall Gardens.
- What to bring and wear
Please wear sensible footwear and weather appropriate clothing.
- Accessibility
This event involves a 50 minute walk with lots of stops. This will only cover a short distance within the gardens. Winding, narrow or uneven paths make some areas inaccessible to wheelchair users. Level access from the car park; from there, access to the main garden area is via an incline.
