The Gibside half marathon hosted by Wild Deer Events

Join Wild Deer Events for a lapped half marathon and enjoy the sights of Gibside after hours.

The run is a challenging route that will take you on a fantastic 3 laps around Gibside, passing amazing views, spectacular architecture and hopefully a roe deer.

As this is a new test event Wild Deer Events are keeping the cost minimal. Runners will receive water and a piece of merchandise at the finish line.

There will be live app-timing and runners will have a maximum of 3 hours to complete the full distance.

The event has toilets and free parking.

Registration closes 30 May 2024 at 11.59pm. Event date is Wednesday 5 June, 6.45pm.

Gates open at 6pm. Please meet in Market Place at Gibside. Expected start time 6.45pm.

Accessibility

There are inclines throughout the trail. The wooden walkway from the car park is on an incline. There are accessible toilets on site.
