February half term trail 'Wonder World: Earth' at Gibside

Join us for a storybook adventure on a wild trail around Gibside this February half term.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event (admission applies)

Discover the muddy, marvelous miracle of soil, from wriggling worms and minibeasts to fungi that help trees talk. Inspired by the children's natural science series published by Nosy Crow in collaboration with the National Trust, Wonder World: Earth by Ben Lerwill & illustrated by Xuan Le.

Round off your adventure by planting a snowdrop carpet that blooms every February (select dates) and stumble upon a cosy story-telling corner in the second-hand bookshops to Celebrate World Book Day.
