From Acorns to Oaks: Family Nature-Connection at Wallington
Step away from screens and into the woods for a playful, mindful session designed for the whole family. Through nature games, crafts and sensory activities, we’ll slow down, explore together and reconnect.
- Booking essential
This nature-connection session is designed for families to slow down, explore together and enjoy meaningful time in nature. Aimed at children from 5+, right through to teenagers and their carers, the session offers a mix of playful activities and calming practices, helping you to step away from busy routines and reconnect with each other and the natural world.
Through nature-based games, creative crafts, sensory exploration and gentle mindfulness, the session invites you to notice more, move more slowly and rediscover a sense of wonder, together. The activities are designed to spark curiosity and connection and are always adaptable so families of all shapes, ages and abilities can join in comfortably.
Spending mindful time in nature benefits both children and adults by promoting physical and emotional wellbeing, enhancing focus, and fostering a sense of calm. It invites relaxation, eases stress and creates a safe space for meaningful connection. Alongside exploring the woodland, there will be moments of stillness and quiet reflection to help everyone feel grounded and present.
Whether you’re looking to spend more quality time outdoors, deepen your connection with one another or simply take a break in a beautiful setting, you are warmly welcome – no experience needed, just come as you are.
Ticket holders to this event will receive complimentary day access to Wallington.
