Beneath the Canopy: Accessible Forest Bathing at Wallington

Join us for a gentle and inclusive forest bathing session along accessible woodland paths. With mindfulness, meditation and sensory invitations, this slow, supported walk offers space to pause, breathe deeply and reconnect.

  • Booking essential

Forest bathing is a calming, inclusive experience designed to help you slow down and reconnect with nature. Set along accessible paths in tranquil woodland, this guided session follows a gentle, unhurried pace with regular pauses for mindfulness, meditation and sensory activities.

Rooted in the Japanese practice of Shinrin-Yoku, forest bathing isn’t about walking fast or far, it’s about tuning into your senses, allowing your mind and body to relax. This session has been thoughtfully adapted to suit a wider range of needs – with shorter distances, more frequent pauses and flexible invitations you can engage with in your own pace and way.

Spending time in nature in this way offers many mental and physical benefits, including reducing stress, improving mood, boosting immune function and supporting overall wellbeing. As well as inviting you to immerse yourself in the restorative power of nature, this session encourages you to notice the natural world more deeply – helping you grow a sense of connection and mutual relationship with nature.

Whether you’re new to mindfulness, seeking a break from a busy life, or simply looking for a slower, more inclusive way to deepen your relationship with nature, this session is open to all – just come as you are and take the time you need to breathe, be present and feel more grounded.

This session has been carefully designed with accessibility in mind.

Ticket holders will receive complimentary day access to Wallington.
