Tunes in the blooms - summer music at Wallington

Come along and enjoy live music from local musicians in the glorious surroundings of the Walled Garden and courtyard every Sunday from 31 May to 28 June.

Pack a picnic, roll out a blanket and kick back and relax to the sounds of live music in the Walled Garden and the Courtyard. There's a wide variety of music on offer during the month including jazz, folk, acoustic guitar and a community band. And when the music stops, enjoy the beautiful blooms of the Walled Garden at this special time of year.

Events are in the Walled Garden unless otherwise stated:

Sunday 31 May: Trever Hogg (folk guitar & song), 12noon & 1.30pm / Phoenix 4 (folk), 12.45pm & 2.15pm. Lindsay Gilfillan (lute & classical guitar) is also playing in the house, 12noon to 3pm.

Sunday 7 June: Tonewood (folk), 12noon & 1.30pm / Fiona Ewart (acoustic melodeon folk music), 12.45pm & 2.15pm.

Sunday 14 June: Juniper Friday (acoustic folk tunes from the British Isles and Scandinavia with some rags and American tunes, fiddles and guitar), 12noon & 1.30pm / RayMac (folk music with melodeon, whistles, harmonicas & guitar), 12.45pm & 2.15pm. Lindsay Gilfillan (lute & classical guitar) is also playing in the house, 12noon to 3pm.

Sunday 21 June: Prudhoe Community Band, 12-2pm will be playing in the courtyard.

Sunday 28 June: Kevi Steel Band, 12noon & 1.30pm / The Spectacles (guitar, banjo, ukulele, percussion & voices), 12.45pm & 2.15pm.

Accessibility

Accessible toilets are available in the main courtyard. Please note: There are three toilets in the walled garden including one with a low single step access.

Other

The Walled Garden kiosk will be open for refreshments 11am until 3pm.
