Experience a summer of medieval adventure at Castle Ward! This summer, we've set aside the lawn games! From 5 July - 31 August, enjoy thrilling challenges, interactive quests, and fantasy fun!

Castle Ward’s Summer of Play 2025 promises a magical adventure for all ages, running from 5 July to 31 August. This epic event features five exciting play zones across the stunning estate. Brave knights and maidens can engage in medieval sports in the Active Zone, while adventurers take on heroic quests in the Quest Zone, battling dragons and rescuing princesses.

Young artists can unleash their creativity in the Creative Zone, while explorers dig for fossils in the Nature Zone. Builders and strategists will thrive in the Loose Parts Zone, and aspiring performers can take the stage in the Performance Play Zone. For those seeking quiet moments, the Quiet Zone offers a peaceful retreat.

With activities for every age, the Summer of Play is included with general admission or free for National Trust members. Join us at Castle Ward for a summer filled with unforgettable adventures and family fun!
