Autumn Guided Walk at Castle Ward
Join our volunteer-led walk on the North West Trail for a refreshing spring stroll through Castle Ward’s historic landscapes.
- Booking essential
- Free event (admission applies)
Join a guided walk led by our wonderful volunteers. It'a great way to meet like-minded folks who enjoy getting into nature, and learn more about the long history of this fascinating sustainable estate.
We like to change up the route occasionally, but generally we keep it to a 5K journey through Castle Ward’s stunning landscapes.
Next walks: Thursday 25 September Thursday 9 October
The trail is moderately graded with some uneven terrain and road crossings but is suitable for families. Dogs are welcome but must be well behaved in a group and be comfortable with other people and dogs in close proximity and happy to stand still for a while.
Make a day of it by visiting the tearoom for refreshments and using the available restrooms before or after your walk.
The event is free but normal admission applies (free for members) but booking is essential. Booking information: Spaces are limited to twenty participants. Secure your spot by emailing castleward@nationaltrust.org.uk, calling 02844881204, or visiting our reception to book in.
