Nightskyhunter - Intro to the Night Sky
Join us for an evening under the stars! Expert astronomer Martin McKenna (Nightskyhunter) will give a presentation on basic constellations, bright stars, planets on view, and a chance to learn how to use telescopes & binoculars for star-gazing.
- Booking essential
The evening will begin with a presentation covering the constellations, stars and planets that are available to see in the night sky over the next month.
After the presentation we will then head out into the lower car-park (a known dark-sky spot) and learn how to use binoculars and telescopes to observe the night sky.
Please note this event is weather dependant - if we are unable to complete the outdoor segment of the evening, we will finish up after the presentation.
