BeHere Exhibition
BeHere community members have created an exhibition about their experience of belonging and Mount Stewart.
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
BeHere is a community-led co-production project exploring whether, and how, heritage sites can enhance a sense of community belonging. The project focuses on the Mount Stewart estate run by the National Trust.
It's a year-long Participatory Action Research project where members of the community have been examining what belonging means to them and how a heritage site can contribute to belonging. The group have created pieces of textile, ceramics and glass which have been inspired by their exploration of the mansion house and estate.
For BeHere, community members have created an exhibition about their experience of belonging and Mount Stewart.
The exhibition will be open to the public from Saturday 6 June to Friday 3 July.
Funded by AHRC Creative Communities programme.
