Winter Illuminations at The Argory

Christmas is not complete without a visit to The Argory. We are excited to introduce a new winter experience, where you will discover the grounds of The Argory in a new light while getting into the festive spirit with your friends and family.

  • Booking essential

Our brand new winter illuminations at The Argory 2023 will be a trail of lights and projections that will take place from 7 December to 10 December. The Argory will be decorated for Christmas and can be seen in its full splendour at our favourite time of the year.

Discover the light trail as you start outside our historic courtyard and walk beside the blackwater river, watch out for the light projections onto the mansion house then onto the lime tree walk. The winter illumination trail is self-led, giving you the space to enjoy the walk at your own pace. Wander through your favourite places with an added sparkle for Christmas. At the end of your journey through illuminations join us in the courtyard for music and winter warmers from our café.

We’d recommend allowing 1 to 2 hours for your visit. Please be aware that the event closes 1 hour after the last allocated entry time.

There will be food and drink can be found at the beginning and end of the trail. There will be Dexter burgers, hot dogs, hot chocolate and non-alcoholic mulled Armagh Mulled Cider available. Separate charges apply for all food and drink. The Coach House Collective Artisans shop will be open selling local crafts.

Booking is essential with tickets are allocated by staggered trail start times and digital or printed tickets are accepted. Please have your tickets ready for inspection on entry to the grounds.
