Take time for yourself in nature this winter and join our volunteer walk leaders on the second Monday of each month for a refreshing 5-mile walk from Sandilands to the peaceful stretch of Moggs Eye Beach.
With the sound of waves and the rustle of wind through bare branches along the coastal country park, it’s a gentle way to unwind and reconnect with the natural world.
Prefer a slower pace? A shorter route is available, making this walk suitable for all abilities. Walk at your own rhythm and enjoy the journey.
Well-behaved dogs on short leads are welcome.
This event is free to join. Donations are warmly welcomed, every contribution helps us care for National Trust Sandilands.

The basics

Meet our volunteer walk leaders near the carpark at 10am.
- What to bring and wear
Suitable outdoor clothing and sturdy walking boots or shoes are recommended. We'd advise bringing a drink too.
- Accessibility
Expect some inclines and uneven terrain, which may be muddy in places following wet weather.
