Natural crafting is a wonderful way to connect with nature, learn new skills and enjoy a mindful, creative experience. Join Yvonne from Spinney Cottage Studio, a member of the Basketmakers’ Association, for a friendly and relaxing Christmas workshop exploring the ancient craft of willow weaving. Guided by Yvonne's expert tuition, you'll learn the basic weaving techniques before creating your very own seasonal Christmas tree centrepiece using sustainable and flexible natural willow. Whether you're a complete beginner or have tried willow weaving before, you'll be supported every step of the way and encouraged to add your own creative flair. The workshop takes place in Sandilands' newly completed community room, providing a welcoming and comfortable space to learn, create and unwind. All materials are included, and during the break you'll be able to enjoy your choice of a regular hot drink and a delicious slice of cake from Dough & Barley (Included in the price) Treat yourself to a peaceful and rewarding festive experience, leaving with new skills, a handcrafted decoration and plenty of inspiration from nature.
