Travel by bus

  • Belton House - The number 1 bus from Grantham to Lincoln, and the number 27 bus runs Grantham to Sleaford, both stop just outside the entrance.
  • Clumber Park – Take the Stagecoach Sherwood Arrow service from Workshop to Ollerton, alight at Carburton, 3/4 mile from the entrance.
  • Tattershall Castle – Take the B5 service from Lincoln to Boston and alight at Tattershall.
  • Mr Straw's House - Stagecoach services 22/25 between Worksop and Doncaster, 42/43 between Worksop and Retford and TM Travel service 34 between Worksop, Retford and Tuxford, alight at Blyth Road, a short walk from the entrance.
  • Sandilands - Take the number 59 service from Skegness and Mablethorpe, alight at Bluestone Way, a 1 mile walk from Sandilands.
  • Gunby Hall and Gardens - Catch the number 56 bus from Lincoln and Skegness, the layby at Gunby roundabout (500 yards from the entrance) is a request stop.
  • The Workhouse and Infirmary - Regular services from Newark, Nottingham and Mansfield bus stations.
