The Inner Ward Makers

In medieval castles, the inner ward of the castle was the most secure and important area inside the castle walls, skilled craftsmen including pottery makers played useful but slightly different roles.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event (admission applies)

To celebrate this, we’re delighted to welcome talented local artisans, who will be showcasing and selling their beautifully crafted pottery. It’s a real pleasure to welcome Jo Towers from JET Ceramics, and we hope you enjoy seeing these traditional skills brought to life and still lovingly shown today.
