This May half term there are plenty of family-friendly activities to enjoy.

Explore the historic properties using the fun trail for all ages discovering the long-lost words of Victorian slang. Have a go on a Victorian circular knitting machine when our friends from the Framework Knitters Takeover the Boardroom on Tuesday. On Mondays and Saturdays take a step back in time and meet our costumed characters and learn about what life was like for inmates who lived here. From plot to pauper plate, explore the recreated Victorian vegetable garden and admire the range of heritage varieties grown here. Whether you bring a picnic or visit our cafés, enjoy a beautiful setting that makes it easy to relax and create special family memories together.
