Pauper Picking

Come to the kitchen garden and help a pauper harvest some of our workhouse grown fresh vegetables to take home for a donation.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event (admission applies)

Take time to explore the kitchen garden and sample its harvest. Chat to our volunteer gardeners, dressed in costume as paupers, to learn about what we grow, how we grow it and historically what would have been grown in the garden.

Pick up some useful gardening tips and recipes and take home freshly picked produce.
