Gold Leaf & Stencil Tea Tray Workshop

23rd May. Use heritage decorative finishes to create a beautifully decorated tea-tray.

  • Booking essential

Use heritage decorative finishes to create a beautiful tea-tray.

In this full day course you will learn and master the refined techniques of painted furniture, gold leaf application, stencilling, and protective finishing. By the end of the day, you will have created your own decorative tea tray, beautifully adorned with corn and wildflower motifs.

This course is suitable for beginners, but would also suit those looking to develop their traditional decorative finishes or practical skills in furniture painting.

Your tutor is Simon Nobs of South Coast Studio. Simon has been providing a high-quality painting and decorating service for 35+ years to clients across the UK and Europe, more recently focusing on the more artistic side of interior decoration. Simon has designed and created a range of high-quality workshops to teach, red-listed traditional decorative paint techniques.

Our class sizes are small, so you'll have a chance to engage with the tutor while you work. All materials and tools required for the course will be provided. This course takes place on Saturday 23 May, 9.30am-5pm. There will be a short break for lunch each day and tea/coffee is provided.
