- Admission applies
This multi-part course allows you pick and mix two red-list decorative arts Faux Marbling and Wood graining. You can book both marbling and woodgraing courses to form a weekend course, alternatively learn woodgraining or marbling as a one day course.
This practical course covers everything you need to know to recreate these traditional paint techniques, taking the skills that you have to the next level, in a nurturing and safe studio environment.
This course is suitable for students of all abilities with a basic understanding of paints, decorating materials and equipment. It's perfect for homeowners and DIYers, professional painters and decorators, conservators and restorers, scenic artists and set designers, building custodians and specifiers, and craftspeople.
Your tutor is Simon Nobs of South Coast Studio. Simon has been providing a high quality painting and decorating service for 35+ years to clients across the UK and Europe, more recently focusing on the more artistic side of interior decoration. Simon has designed and created a range of high quality workshops to teach, red-listed traditional decorative paint techniques.
Our class sizes are small, so you'll have a chance to engage with the tutor while you work.
All materials and tools required for the course will be provided. This course takes place over two days, on Saturday 20 to Sunday 21 September, 9.30am-4pm daily. There will be a short break for lunch each day and tea/coffee is provided.
