Summer of Play

Bring the whole family to enjoy the summer holidays with our range of fun activities for our Summer of Play, included with admission. Until 28 August, children get free admission to the house and grounds at Waddesdon!

  • Booking advisable
  • Free event (admission applies)

Each week we introduce a new exciting activity to get stuck into. Try your hand at classic garden games available to borrow throughout the Summer holidays.

From Friday 25 until Sunday 27 July, have a go at archery, axe throwing or the climbing wall and from Friday 1 until Sunday 3 August, learn some new skills at a hands-on circus workshop.

Over the weekend of Friday 8 August to Sunday 10 August, enjoy interactive children's theatre shows. Create your own paintings with Urban Canvas from Friday 15 until Sunday 17 August.

The penultimate weekend of the holidays brings Mini Golf and Croquet for the whole family to enjoy.
