Join Volunteer and former Countryside Manager, Bill, on a mindful morning stroll through the ancient parkland, as he imparts his knowledge on the wildlife that awakens at this time in the morning.

As the sun rises and the park comes alive, tune into the enchanting melodies of the dawn chorus and immerse yourself in nature.

What to bring and wear

We recommend sturdy footwear, lots of layers, and waterproofs if weather-appropriate. Pack plenty of refreshments with you, as the food facilities will be closed at this time.

Accessibility

This is a leisurely three hour walk, with stops along the way to listen out for the different calls of bird. The walk covers mostly main paths; however, there will be steps and areas of uneven terrain. Not suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs.
