Join Hardwick’s bird enthusiasts for an autumnal bird walk.

Spot the arrival of winter Thrushes, Redwing and Fieldfare to the park from Scandinavia, and winter ducks on the ponds.
This guided group walk will take you on a circular adventure around the ponds, through wood pastures, Lady Spencer’s Wood and looping back round. These different environments are perfect for observing birds in a variety of habitats.
Hardwick’s Bird Walk for Beginners is exactly that! Meet other enthusiasts and enjoy the fresh autumnal air.

The basics

This guided trail will take place from the Park Centre Kiosk, located at the Hardwick Park Centre.
- What to bring and wear
Please wear sturdy outdoor shoes and dress for the Great British Weather. Bring appropriate snacks and water if needed. Binoculars are great but not essential for the experience.
- Accessibility
There is an accessible toilet located at the Park Centre, please note that this walk is along uneven terrain and is not wheelchair accessible.
