Enjoy the formal grounds at Hardwick Hall with this short, sociable walk & talk. Our Walk Leaders will point out significant parts of the property and seasonal changes through the gardens, on the way round at a comfortable pace.
This walk is on both compact earth and tarmac paths and is accessible via wheelchair, pushchair and electric mobility scooter/tramper.
Rest & refreshments:
· Picnic benches located in the Stableyard and regular rest points are in the gardens.
· Toilets located in the Stableyard.
· Café located in the Stableyard.
Total allotted time is 45 minutes.
Please note you will have free access to the grounds as part of the walk but will not be able to enter the Old Hall or Hardwick Hall without purchasing an admissions ticket at the visitor centre/or with your membership pass.

- Meeting point
Please arrive 10 minutes before the walk is due to start in the Visitor Reception Building in the Stableyard.
- What to bring and wear
Please wear suitable footwear & clothing for walking on rugged terrain and being out in the sun. If the weather is hot, please bring water, refreshments and sunscreen. No dogs allowed.
- Accessibility
This walk is fully accessible, there are accessible parking, toilets and a changing place facility if needed. Trampers are available to hire and sensory bags are also available from Visitor Reception.
