Dovedale: Spring Highlight: Easter Adventures at Dovedale
Celebrate Easter at Dovedale this year with a trail with a giant difference! Hunt down 10 giant eggs along the valley and learn about nature along the way.

Make your way along the trail and find activities for the whole family. The trail takes place between from 3rd April – 6th April, 10:30-14:30, with last entry at 14:30, so come along and explore the beautiful Nature Reserve of Dovedale. Prices are £3.50 per trail which includes an Easter trail sheet, bunny ears and dairy or vegan and Free From* chocolate egg. *Suitable for people with milk, egg, gluten, peanut and tree nut allergies. There are 10 different giant eggs hidden along the valley, all painted with different Peak District wildlife. Hunt down all the eggs and have fun with all the activities along the way. Flap your way along the path, creep and jump! What animals will you find along the way? The price of the trail is £3.50 per child and includes the trail activities, pencil, bunny ears, activity leaflet to take home and a chocolate egg, or vegan and free from chocolate egg. Both eggs are made using Rainforest Alliance Certified cocoa. Find out more at www.rainforest-alliance.org. There's lots of explore at Dovedale National Nature Reserve, climb to the top of Thorpe Cloud, spot Dippers flying down the river and pick up a tasty treat from our cafe vans in the car park, it's a full day of fun guaranteed this Easter. PLEASE NOTE: As of the 6th feb the Stepping Stones are temporarily closed and awaiting repairs from Derbyshire County Council. Please do not attempt to cross whilst this closure is in place.

The trail might be muddy, so wear boots or wellies and clothes you don't mind getting dirty.
- Accessibility
The trail is step-free. Please be aware the Stepping Stones are currently waiting for repair from Derbyshire County Council and are impassable. 08.01.26
- Other
Dogs on leads welcome. There are sheep with lambs grazing across the site. You can start the trail anytime from 10.30am and we advise it takes approximately 25 mins.
