Join us for a full day of need felting, in our beautiful countryside setting. Join textile artist Hannah Dodd for a captivating workshop where you'll discover the magic of transforming wool fibres into delightful 3D creations.
Witness the fascinating process as wool intertwines and tightens, forming a solid and textured base. Using a barbed felting needle, you'll master the dry felting technique, sculpting and shaping your very own whimsical hare. Hannah will guide you through each step, revealing the secrets to creating depth, form, and unique character.
In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn:
-The fundamentals of dry needle felting. -How to build 3D shapes and forms with wool. -Techniques for adding detail and personality to your creations. -How to create your very own whimsical felted hare.

This event, like all our events is open to members of the National Trust and non-members. Money raised at our events goes back into looking after the White Peak.
