Ilam Park Summer Highlight: Summer of Play: Animalympics

Start warming up and get ready because this summer Ilam Park will host the Animalympics!

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event (admission applies)

Escape to Ilam Park this summer holidays for wild fun for all the family.

Throughout the summer holidays we will have a range of play stations dotted around the park that will be open for families to drop in dawn til dusk.

Each one inspired by an animal and a sport. We’ll have grasshopper long jump, woodland animal assault course, ant weightlifting and much more! These stations will encourage children to run, jump and play in active and creative ways inspired by some wonderful wildlife. We have a range of play for all ages and all families. Some play is very active, some play is performance based and some is quiet (bell tent quiet sensory zone). These are self led activities with no set route so you can tailor your day according to what you would like to do and how far you would like to explore. All stations are free.

As well as the Animalympics stations we also have:
