Join us for a free gentle walk in the countryside, enjoy a gentle pace and all the benefits of getting outside in nature. Coffee and tea included at the end of the walk.

Join us on our free monthly walk on the first Wednesday of every month from March to October. Starting always at 10:00am from the Ilam Park Stable Yard. Each walk will take you at a gentle pace, for up to 2 hours, through the beautiful, surrounding countryside of the White Peak.
Whether you’re looking to build confidence walking independently, improve your health and fitness, or support your mental wellbeing, these regular friendly group walks could be just right for you.
The walks are a friendly and relaxed experience. Enjoy being out in nature and the proven benefits for both mental and physical health.
There will be free tea and filter coffee available in the Coach House, when we return to the Ilam Park Stable yard at the end of the walk.
There is no charge for these walks or and this event, like all our events, is open to both members of the National Trust and also to non-members.
Car Parking is included for our social walks, please visit the Welcome Hut on arrival to pick up your parking pass.
In October we are partnering with the Youth Hostel Association to celebrate their Festival of Walking. There will be extra spaces on this walk and it will end at the YHA where FREE tea and cake will be served at Ilam Hall Youth Hostel.
