Road closures impacting Ilam Park and Dovedale
Road closures will unfortunately impact both Ilam Park and Dovedale from 8th-10th April.
We have been advised that from Wednesday 8th until Friday 10th April, some of the roads around Ilam Park and Dovedale will be closed to all public traffic. Please plan your visit accordingly and plan an alternative route if needed.
Our cafe and food and beverage vans will still be on site, helping keep you well fed and hydrated during your visit.
Unfortnately, we are expecting these works to increase traffic congestion and limit car parking capacity. If you do plan on visiting, please be aware of the impact of these works and be patient with staff as we try to accommodate you once you arrive.
Wednesday 8th April - Ilam-moor Lane will be closed through the village of Ilam. This means there is no vehicle access to the car park at Ilam Hall.
Thursday 9th April - The road from Blore down to Ilam will be closed, but both Ilam Hall and Dovedale will be accessible via other routes.
Friday 10th April - Thorpe Road will be closed from Ilam across to the bridge on the river Dove. This means there is no vehicle access to the car park at Dovedale.
