South Asian Heritage Month
Kedleston Hall celebrates South Asian Heritage Month. Discover more this July around this year’s theme of ‘Unity in Diversity’
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
Join a museum talk to learn more about specific South Asian items within the collection. These 5-10 minute opportunities allow a closer look and deeper insight into the significance of these beautiful objects both within and without the collection.
Outside of the Hall, visit the Loggia for an opportunity to come together for a game of Moksha Patam (also known as snakes and ladders). You can also enjoy a comfy bean bag or chair as you delve into celebrated South Asian titles for adults and children.
We invite you to think about what ‘Unity in Diversity’ means to you this South Asian Heritage Month.
Please note: the Museum talks are run based on volunteer availability. We aim to facilitate a morning and afternoon session. Please check in at Visitor Reception upon arrival or in advance of your visit to check availability.
