October half term: Free Family Social Walk
Join us for a free, family-friendly guided walk. Perfect for those exploring Longshaw for the first time, and those who want to see it through new eyes.

This free, family social walk is perfect for little legs. Enjoy nature-themed activities on a short walk, designed to help first-time visitors and regulars alike to explore Longshaw with confidence.
The walk is about 3km, and takes about an hour. It's designed for families with children aged 3-10, but older and younger children are welcome. The route is buggy friendly, and ends at the café where there are toilets, including baby change facilities.
The start of the walk fits with bus times from Sheffield and Hope Valley (272, alight at Fox House).
Unfortunately dogs are not able to join the the walk, except for assistance dogs.

Meet at the Welcome Building in Woodcroft car park.
- What to bring and wear
Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy footwear. As this walk takes place on Halloween, fancy dress is warmly welcome!

The route is buggy friendly, and ends at the café where there are toilets, including baby change facilities. There are no stiles along the walk.
