October half term: Monstrous Minibeasts trail at Longshaw
Enter the spooky woods and discover the world of creepy-crawlies, if you dare!

Collect a trail sheet from the Welcome Building, then head into the woods in search of larger-than-life minibeasts. Can you match wits with a millepede, be speedy like a spider, or wiggle like a worm?
£3 per trail. Designed for children age 4-8 but all are welcome.

Welcome Building, at the bottom of Woodcroft car park.
- What to bring and wear
Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear for exploring forest paths in the autumn.
- Accessibility
Accessible parking is available in Woodcroft car park. There are two accessible toilets and baby change.

Craft a magic cauldron, then use it to collect ingredients for an enchanted potion as you explore Longshaw's spooky woods on a storytelling journey. The walk finishes with seasonal snacks and drinks at the Moorland Discovery Centre.
