Autumn family: Stranger Folk digital adventure 2026
Gather your friends and family for an exciting digital folklore adventure for 7-12 year olds and imaginative adults.
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
Download the free Stranger Folk app to start your folklore magic adventure. Your guide, the Crone, will direct you through a series of silly and magical tasks to help find the Stranger Folk and decide their fate.
On your way, you’ll find plenty of autumnal magic. Choose a route through the autumnal woods to enjoy the seasonal colour, or head for the wild open moors in search of mythical creatures from folklore.
The app is free to download. You can download it at home, or download it when you arrive at Longshaw. To start the game, you will need a magic password, available from the Welcome Building at Longshaw. There's no set route for this activity, so you can play the game on your walk.
