Our popular wreath making sessions return for 2025.
Create a beautiful, traditional handmade wreath, with the help of our friendly tutors. We’ll supply natural materials gathered from around Longshaw for you to create your festive masterpiece to take home.
There are morning and afternoon sessions in the Moorland Discovery Centre. Wreath making materials, light refreshments and festive music are included.
Unfortunately we can not allow dogs to these sessions. These session are aimed at adults, suitable for ages 16+

Head to the Moorland Discovery Centre, next to Longshaw's main Woodcroft Car Park. There are 3 toilets, one is accessible with baby change.
- What to bring and wear
Be sure to dress appropriately if you are out exploring Longshaw Estate before or after the wreath making session.
- Accessibility
There is a gravel slope with a 1:12 gradient down into the Moorland Discovery Centre from the car park, and accessible parking bays close to the centre. There is an accessible toilet in the Discovery Centre.
- Other
The sessions are indoors, in the warmth of the Moorland Discovery Centre with a short walk from the car park. Parking in Woodcroft car park, NT members park free and non-members the charge is £6.00 for 4 hours and £8.00 all day. Car parks are locked at 4pm. Mobile phone signal can be limited in the Centre but free wifi is available.
