Early Morning Birdsong Walk

Celebrate Dawn Chorus Day with a morning birdsong walk

  • Booking essential
  • Admission applies

Starting opposite Granby Barn, explore the sights and sounds of Padley Gorge with an early morning birdsong walk.

While we can’t guarantee what will be in the woods, we expect to come across Chiffchaff, Willow Warbler, Pied Flycatcher, Redstart and Tree Pipit in Padley Gorge and on Lawrence Field, plus lots of wild residents on the rest of the walk.

Please note that the walk starts at 8am in Padley Gorge. Some roadside parking is available opposite Granby Barn. Woodcroft car park is roughly a 20 minute walk away, following the Pink waymarkers.

Although the walk is three hours long, it will involve plenty of pauses to listen for birdsong and is considered a gentle walk.
