Summer of Play at Longshaw

From Animal Orienteering to archery sessions in the grounds of the Moorland Discovery Centre, this summer there's a whole range of activities for you to try at Longshaw.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event (admission applies)

Each Tuesday and Wednesday throughout the summer holidays, the Moorland Discovery Centre is host to Olympic themed games and activities (with wet weather options planned just in case). Activities are free, see the individual event pages for more information.

There is a 10-point Nature Olympics course, with activity stations dotted around the Estate. Suitable for all ages, test your skills in competition with the rest of your group.

The popular animal orienteering course around the estate is back. Can you find all the animals? 50p per sheet from the Welcome Building in Woodcroft carpark.
