Winter: Needle felting workshop
Craft a whimsical winter animal decoration using the fun technique of needle felting, with textile artist Hannah Dodd. Suitable for beginners, all materials included.

Peak District textile artist Hannah Dodd will guide you through the process of creating a winter woodland animal decoration, using a felting needle and wool. Choose from a fox, owl or hare.
All materials are provided, as well as light refreshments.
This workshop will give you the opportunity to slow down and enjoy some mindful creative time in the warmth of the Moorland Discovery Centre.
Hannah Dodd is a Derbyshire-based artist who creates quirky designs to provoke humour and make you smile. You can find out more about Hannah's work at www.hannahdoddtextileartist.co.uk.
This workshop is aimed at adults and children age 14+. Children under 18 must be supervised by an adult. No dogs please.

- Meeting point
Meet at the Moorland Discovery Centre, adjacent to Woodcroft car park. Woodcroft car park is a pay-and-display car park. Parking is free for National Trust members.
- What to bring and wear
The workshop takes place indoors, but please bring outdoor shoes and clothing appropriate for the weather if you plan to walk to the café. All materials are provided.
- Accessibility
The Moorland Discovery Centre is accessed via a gravel path with an up to 1:12 gradient. The Centre has level access throughout, including an accessible toilet.
