ACT 1: In Charles Dickens’ classic ghost story, ‘The Signalman’, we follow a railway signalman who keeps watch over a damp, and gloomy railway cutting.
ACT 2: In Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s ‘Lot No. 249’, we follow Abercrombie Smith, a student who investigates a series of supernatural occurrences linked to his suspicious neighbour.
This is a candlelit performance taking place in St Bartholomew’s Church and will begin at 7pm on Saturday 17th October 2026.

The performance takes place inside a church. There is no heating, so warm clothes and a cushion is advised.

There is one step into the church. The performance will take place in the evening. It will be dark outside when the performance has finished, so a torch is advised too.
