School visits to Ironbridge Gorge

Ironbridge Gorge has a long history of providing and supporting educational visits to the important places that make up this world heritage site. Our expert  team offer an exciting programme which can be tailored for different ages, abilities and curriculums.

We offer self-led visits to Blists Hill and the Museum of Iron and museum staff led workshops at Blists Hill Victorian Town and Jackfield Tile Museum (from June).

Self guided visits

You can bring your group along on a self-guided visit. You must let us know you're coming by completing a booking form, please email us , and we will be happy to send you a booking form. Coach parking is available at Blists Hill.

We do charge for self-guided group visits, unless your school or college has or takes out a National Trust Educational Group Access Pass. You can find more information about Educational Group Access Pass here.

Workshops for all key stages

Taking part in one of our educational workshops can really enhance your visit. Led by the Learning Team, these offer curriculum linked, hands-on activities that will inspire your pupils and ensure an unforgettable experience.
