Join one of our volunteers in the garden room as they share tales of Coleridge's time in cottage where he penned some of his best works.

Enjoy poetry readings of Rime of the Ancient Mariner, Frost at Midnight and Kubla Khan, before heading out into the garden to discover where Coleridge found inspiration.

Settle down in the tearoom and browse a selection of hot drinks and treats, available to purchase.

Meeting point

Meet at the front entrance of the cottage where you will be greeted by a member of the Welcome Team. The event will take place in the Garden Room.

What to bring and wear

Wear clothing suitable for the weather and flat shoes.

Accessibility

Three steps to entrance. Unsuitable for wheelchairs. Uneven floors. No accessible parking. Cobbled areas outside. Short, steep slopes in garden.
