Join one of our volunteer tour guides and discover how the women in Samuel Taylor Coleridge’s life shaped his experiences and inspired his writing. Moving through the rooms of Coleridge Cottage, the tour brings hidden stories to light, including the resilience and resourcefulness of his wife Sara Fricker as well as his creative and intellectual friendship with Dorothy Wordsworth.

- Accessibility
The cottage is situated on two floors, with multiple steps at the entrance and narrow corridors and doorways. In the garden, the terrain is steep and uneven in places, and includes a cobbled path and cut grass path through the wildflower garden.
