Ready for an adventure beyond village streets into the wooded hills, deep valleys and open fields of Nether Stowey’s hinterland? Walk into a world of wonders where, in words of Coleridge, ‘a luxury of landscapes’ will meet your gaze and all your senses.

Connect with the landscape that inspired Coleridge's poetry and explore a landscape mix including close encounters with woodland ans streams as well as open fields and vast panoramas with one our walk leaders.

Dogs on a lead are welcome on this walk. Normal admission applies to attendees wanting to visit Coleridge Cottage, but the tearoom can be used free of charge.

What to bring and wear

Please dress for the weather and wear study footwear suitable for walking. No flip flops or heeled shoes. Please bring water and snacks.

Accessibility

Please keep in mind that these walks include uneven terrain and may be hilly in places. There are steep sections with some rough terrain and loose rocks underfoot. Some long ascents with fairly steep sections. Some stiles/narrow lych-gates.

Toilets available at Coleridge Cottage and in the Nether Stowey Library Car Park.
