If you’ve ever wondered how we look after the precious lowland heath and other habitats at Dunwich Heath, here’s your opportunity to find out! Take a walk with one of our rangers to discover more about this special coastal landscape and the unique plant and animal species which thrive in this increasingly rare habitat.

Please meet at Heath Barn, opposite the Coastguard Cottages.

What to bring and wear

Please dress suitably for the weather conditions on the day. Sturdy footwear is also advisable as some paths are uneven. If you have your own binoculars please do bring them along!

Accessibility

Accessible to all, but please note that this outdoor activity will take place on mixed terrain. An off-road mobility scooter is available to hire, but please book this in advance.

Parking fee not included in ticket price. Non-members please purchase a parking ticket on arrival, members scan your cards.
