Bridge Builder Exhibition by West Suffolk College
Exploring differences, building understanding. Featuring student's work from BA(Hons) Graphic Communication & BA(Hons) Art Practice at University Studies at West Suffolk College. Eastern Education Group.
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
This exhibition, taking inspiration from our own exhibition 'The Bridge-Builder: Ickworth’s Irish Connection', explores themes of tolerance, resistance, and building bridges, through visual and conceptual responses. It reflects on living alongside differences, the quiet strength of non-violent resistance, and the ways individuals and communities connect across social and cultural divides. The principles of this ideology is reflected in the life and legacy of Frederick Hervey 4th Earl Bishop at Ickworth in the 18th Century, which has provided a rich foundation to the work on display.
