Join us for Heritage Open Days at Ickworth Estate and uncover the hidden histories that have shaped this remarkable place.
Enjoy free admission to Ickworth from 11th - 14th September and discover the stories behind one of Suffolk's most distinctive country houses. Explore the Rotunda at your own pace, taking in its magnificent collections, architecture and interiors, or delve deeper with one of our guided tours, including A Life Below Stairs and An Introduction to Ickworth.
Throughout the weekend, discover more about the people, craftsmanship and conservation that continue to shape Ickworth. Join one of our specialist talks exploring the art of stone masonry and learn about the skills involved in caring for this historic estate.
Take a stroll through the Italianate Garden or Albana Woodland, browse the Suffolk Craft Society exhibition in the West Wing Gallery, and enjoy a visit to our cafés and shop.

The basics

Wheelchair ramp access is available in the West Wing and the Rotunda. There is a lift available for access to all floors in the West Wing and the Rotunda. Assistance dogs only in the West Wing, Rotunda and Italianate Garden. Audio description guides are available from the Welcome Point. We have a shuttle bus that can assist to take you from the car park to the Rotunda and West Wing.
