Summer of Play Craft Workshop - Sheep and Starfish Decorations

Make your own hanging sheep and starfish decorations!

This year for Summer of Play we are holding a series of craft workshops, in this session you will make two different crafts, your own hanging fluffy sheep, and hanging starfish bead decoration! Both activities feature threading ribbon/beads. For the sheep you'll sew together a fluffy sheep and decorate it and you'll thread beads onto the starfish legs! You'll take your creations home! All materials provided. Ages 5+ due to fiddly pieces.

Meeting point

Make your way to our Walled Garden, craft workshops will be held in the Crafts Zone underneath our stretch tent. Visit our Summer of Play Welcome Point on arrival for more information.

What to bring and wear

Craft workshops are held outside, underneath shade and some craft activities will use glue and paint, please wear appropriate clothing and footwear.

Accessibility

Many of Ickworth Estate's footpaths are a mixture of loose and hard gravel, woodchip and grass and may be hard going with manual wheelchairs. The Multi-use trail to the Walled Garden is perfect for wheelchair users and pathways to the picnic areas the accessible.

Other

Children must be supervised at all times. Please arrive a few minutes before your session starts, and note that the Walled Garden is a 15 minute walk from the main car park.
